The wilsonville home was designed to utilize especially large and unique beams that the owners had saved from demolition jobsites. Central posts in Bent II and III will be full dimension 12x12's, supporting 10x15 principal rafters. One girt beam in Bend II is 10" wide and 21” deep. This is a fairly complex project that requires intricate detailing of beam connections so that everything will go smoothly during raising and throughout the construction process.
