This project is a fine example of bringing the clients dreams into reality. We worked closely with the clients original layout of room relationship while weaving the timber frame elements into the design.

Our main challenge was to incorporate a timber frame structure that would enhance the proportions of the large open spaces. The result was a clean simple frame with a strikingly apparent feeling of excessive strength. It just seems to demand that an extra heavy snow load builds up on it's roof.

The exterior views reflect the mountainous nature of Central Oregon borrowing specifically from the visual impact of the nearby Three Sisters mountain range.

As with most of our timber frame designs; we truly enjoy the challenges of the architectural/structural issues almost as much as we enjoy the interaction with our clients.
